There are two items that need to be cleared periodically to help protect your privacy concerning websites (such as this one) that you've been visiting. They are:
- URL history (the website addresses that you type in; e.g., www.google.com)
- Browser cache (your browser's collection of pages that you've visited that are stored on your hard drive)
Choose your browser from below:
- Internet Explorer 5 or 6
- Netscape 8
- Firefox
ou can determine which browser you are using by going to the top menu and clicking on Help-> About.If you are using a browser other than those listed above, please e-mail webmaster for further assistance.

Clearing the cache
- Close all other programs, and open Internet Explorer.
- Click on the "Tools" menu, and select "Internet Options".
- On the "Internet Properties" page, under the heading "Temporary Internet Files" click the button that says "Delete Files".
- You will see a pop-up window. In this window, put a tick in the box that says "Delete all offline content", then click the "OK" button.
- Click the "OK" button again.
Clearing the history
- Close all other programs, and open Internet Explorer.
- Click on the "Tools" menu, and select "Internet Options".
- Further down this screen, you will see a section entitled "History". In this section, you need to click the button that says "Clear History". This will bring up a confirmation window.
- Click "Yes" to delete the history files.
- Click the "OK" button again.

- Click "Clear" across from "Cache" (the last option).
